Prince William has taken a major step that royal watchers believe could shape the future of the monarchy. According to a royal expert, the Prince and Princess of Wales are determined to protect the institution from future scandals and growing media pressure.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Helena Chard described William’s latest move as “calculated and proactive.” The Prince of Wales recently hired a new staff member with a background in crisis management, reportedly nicknamed “bulletproof sunshine.”
Chard said several sources believe the real reason for the hire is the woman’s experience in handling difficult situations behind the scenes. “A few sources have suggested that Liza Ravenscroft’s background in crisis management is the real reason she was hired,” she explained.
The timing of the decision has also raised eyebrows. Chard pointed to a series of recent challenges facing the royal family, including the downfall of Andrew, the ongoing rift with Harry and Meghan Markle, and increasing financial scrutiny of the monarchy.
She said the move is about protecting both William and Catherine from relentless media attention while also shielding the wider royal family. “Protecting them from intense scrutiny and protecting the monarchy is a calculated, proactive move,” she said.
According to Chard, the new staffer’s role will be to spot problems before they explode into headlines. “She will anticipate and neutralise misinterpretation before it takes hold. It’s just what the doctor ordered, allowing the Prince and Princess of Wales to focus on their purpose and their family,” she added.
Chard believes the couple are putting the monarchy first by trying to stay ahead of potential controversies. “They’re doing this without the cloud of constant media frenzy as unprecedented bombshells drop,” she said.
Summing it up, the expert added, “Prevention is better than cure. From the sound of it, Ravenscroft’s qualities are key. She’s worth her weight in gold.”
