Sarah Ferguson is reportedly being cautioned against publishing a bombshell memoir that could reveal royal secrets, with sources claiming legal action may follow if she goes ahead with it.
According to OK! Magazine, the former Duchess of York has been seen removing personal diaries from Royal Lodge as she prepares to move out, following King Charles’ decision to have her and Prince Andrew vacate the property.
Ferguson and Andrew lost their royal status after their links to Jeffrey Epstein, and were ordered to leave the 30-room mansion. Now, insiders believe Sarah may be collecting material for a future tell-all book.
“Sarah is already moving boxes out of the mansion, and they are said to contain years of personal diaries,” a source revealed.
The insider added that there is growing concern these notebooks could become the foundation of a highly profitable memoir. “There is anxiety that these diaries could form the backbone of a lucrative tell-all, something many would see as crossing a line,” they said.
Another source claimed there is a sense that Ferguson is planning an exit strategy, both financially and in terms of her public image. “People around her worry she sees a memoir as her last remaining leverage, which is why warnings are being issued now rather than later.”
The tipster also suggested that while money is a factor, it is not the only reason behind the idea. “She feels a tell-all book would solve her financial problems, but it’s not just about that.”
However, senior members of the royal family are said to be quietly urging her not to go ahead with it. She has reportedly been warned that publishing such a book could trigger serious legal consequences over any claims she makes.
