The monarch is recruiting a new chef at one of his most cherished estates
King Charles is on the hunt for fresh talent at Sandringham, with a new chef role opening up at the Norfolk estate just days after his younger brother Andrew settled into a new home.
According to a listing shared by the royal estate, the position is for a “skilled and passionate chef” to join the existing culinary team. The role involves supporting the Head Chef with menu planning and concept development, so applicants are expected to have a strong interest in a wide range of cuisines and service styles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high quality meals for King Charles III, while maintaining what the advert describes as the highest standards of service.
Sandringham has long been one of the King’s favourite residences and has been closely tied to the royal family for generations. It is traditionally where the monarch and relatives gather over the festive period.
With Buckingham Palace set to remain under major refurbishment until 2027, the estate has taken on added importance, serving both as a private retreat and a working base for the King and Queen.
