Observers also noted that since Christmas, there has been no clear public display of solidarity toward their parents. Instead, Beatrice and Eugenie were seen joining King Charles for a walkabout, while their parents remained at Royal Lodge. Some commentators view that appearance as a subtle signal of where their priorities currently lie.
Turner believes the sisters are likely to keep a low profile in the coming weeks while “The Firm” considers its next steps. He also pointed out that Sarah Ferguson’s recent absence from public life has added to speculation. Reports indicate she spent late December and January at a high-end Swiss wellness clinic, said to cost around £13,000 per day, amid anxiety related to the Epstein files.
As for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, he remains the only former senior royal from the York family to have been questioned by authorities. He reportedly spent more than eleven hours in custody before being released.
