Harvey Weinstein Slams Gwyneth Paltrow Over Past Allegations: 'I Won’t Forgive Her'

Former film producer claims the actress “stabbed” him in the back despite their friendship

Harvey Weinstein has once again criticised Gwyneth Paltrow, saying he will never forgive the actress for accusing him of s*xual harassment.

The disgraced former film producer, now 72, made the remarks during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter from prison. In the interview, he spoke about several accusations made against him over the years but said Paltrow’s claims affected him the most because of their past friendship.

Weinstein said he felt particularly betrayed by the actress, suggesting that she owed part of her career success to him. According to him, their relationship made the allegation more painful than others.

Paltrow was among several women who came forward in 2017 with accusations against Weinstein during the wave of allegations that shook Hollywood. The actress said that early in her career he made an inappropriate advance, claiming he grabbed her and suggested they go to a hotel bedroom for a massage.

Weinstein, however, dismissed the incident in the interview and insisted that nothing serious happened. He claimed that when he made the suggestion, Paltrow declined and he respected her response.

The former producer also referenced an incident involving Brad Pitt, saying the actor confronted him after hearing about the encounter. Weinstein said Pitt warned him not to behave that way toward Paltrow again, to which he responded that he understood the message.

Despite that exchange, Weinstein argued that Paltrow later exaggerated the situation in media interviews, including comments she made on The New York Times and on Howard Stern’s show. He repeated that he believes the matter was blown out of proportion.

Weinstein is currently serving prison sentences following convictions for sexual crimes, while many of the women who spoke out against him remain central figures in the movement that exposed misconduct in the film industry.
