According to claims circulating among royal insiders, the monarch is open to offering Royal Lodge, a 30 bedroom estate in Windsor, to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The property has long been associated with Prince Andrew and has, over the years, attracted scrutiny because of his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
The idea, reportedly shared by a well placed source and quoted by celebrity reporter Rob Shuter, is being framed as a meaningful attempt at reconciliation. One insider suggested that handing over such a significant Windsor property would be “the ultimate olive branch”, adding that Charles is keen to show that unity remains possible.
