Princess Beatrice is reportedly struggling with the renewed attention surrounding her father, Prince Andrew, according to a body language expert.
The 37 year old royal was recently seen walking through London with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Observers noted that she appeared serious and subdued during the outing.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, body language expert Judi James suggested that Beatrice looked tense and unsettled. She described the Princess as appearing “haunted” and unusually serious, pointing out that her lips seemed tightly set rather than relaxed into her typical warm smile.
James also commented on Beatrice’s expression, saying her eyes appeared wary as she walked. While she seemed to be chatting in an effort to keep the outing looking normal, James claimed that her facial tension suggested she was not entirely at ease.
According to the expert, Beatrice appeared to quicken her pace and held her coffee cup close to her face, possibly as a way to shield herself from cameras. James added that at one point, Beatrice made a brief nose wrinkle expression, which she interpreted as a sign of discomfort at the media attention.
The latest comments come as Prince Andrew continues to face public scrutiny, a situation that inevitably places pressure on his immediate family.
