Insiders say some in the racing star’s circle worry the relationship could impact his image
Lewis Hamilton has reportedly been cautioned about his romance with Kim Kardashian, with some people in his inner circle concerned the relationship could affect his carefully built brand.
The Formula One champion and the reality TV mogul have been linked for some time, sparking speculation among fans about the nature of their relationship. While the pair appear to be enjoying each other’s company, not everyone close to Hamilton is convinced the match is a good idea.
According to RadarOnline.com, a source claimed that certain people around the racing star believe dating Kardashian could bring unwanted attention.
“There are people in his world who think being involved with Kim is a bad move and that he could be inviting complications with the Kardashian machine already running at full speed,” the insider said.
The concern, the source suggested, comes from the long-running narrative about the so-called “Kardashian curse”, a phrase often used in pop culture to describe the misfortunes that have reportedly followed some of the family’s former partners.
“The guy is at the top of his game,” the insider added. “The last thing he needs right now is to end up being another example people point to.”
However, other reports paint a very different picture of the relationship.
According to Page Six, people close to the pair believe the connection between Hamilton and Kardashian is genuine and growing stronger despite their demanding schedules.
One source said the two remain in regular contact, with Hamilton often FaceTiming Kardashian from the Formula One paddock while travelling for races.
“Lewis is completely smitten and those around him think he may have finally met someone who truly matches him,” the source said.
They added that the seven-time world champion had been searching for the right partner for years and is deeply taken with Kardashian.
“It’s going well, and Kim has been genuinely enjoying her time with Lewis,” the insider concluded.
