Netflix Ends Partnership Linked to Meghan Markle’s As Ever Brand

Streaming platform confirms collaboration tied to With Love, Meghan has concluded as the lifestyle series stops moving forward

Meghan Markle’s collaboration with Netflix connected to her lifestyle brand As Ever has reportedly come to an end.

The move follows the conclusion of her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which will not continue with a third season on the platform.

According to an industry source quoted by Page Six, the partnership surrounding the brand no longer made sense once the show stopped progressing. The source explained that the arrangement had been closely tied to the programme’s future.

“Her show did not go on, so it did not make sense to continue the partnership,” the source said.

A spokesperson for Netflix confirmed the shift while speaking positively about the collaboration. They said Markle’s interest in celebrating simple everyday moments inspired the creation of the As Ever brand and that the company was pleased to help bring that idea to life.

The spokesperson also noted that the brand had always been expected to stand on its own eventually. Markle will now continue developing As Ever independently as the business moves into its next phase.

While the lifestyle show is not continuing as a full series, future seasonal specials of With Love, Meghan could still appear on the platform.

Markle and her husband, the Duke of Sussex, first signed a reported $100 million production deal with Netflix in 2020 after stepping back from senior roles within the British royal family.

Their biggest success with the platform came in 2022 with the documentary series Harry & Meghan, which became one of Netflix’s most-watched releases at the time.

Some later projects drew less attention, including the documentary Polo and Markle’s lifestyle programme.

Reports say the couple renewed their partnership with Netflix last year on a smaller deal. Projects currently in development include adaptations of Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune and The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory.
