In his latest Substack post, Shuter claimed insiders told him the sisters have privately urged Ferguson to reconsider. The source alleged that the two daughters are “terrified” the book could trigger a serious backlash from the palace and further strain relations with senior members of the monarchy.
The insider reportedly said the sisters have pleaded with their mother not to publish a revealing memoir that discusses private royal matters.
Concerns reportedly centre on the possibility that the book could reignite controversy surrounding the royal family, particularly following the ongoing scrutiny linked to Prince Andrew and the wider Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
