Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle to tour Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney during four-day trip
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to begin a four-day visit to Australia starting Tuesday, with several public appearances scheduled across major cities.
According to reports, the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle will travel to Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney as part of the short tour. During the visit, the couple are expected to focus on community initiatives, including health, veterans’ support and social causes.
One of the key stops on the schedule includes a visit to a children’s hospital. They are also expected to take part in events linked to veterans’ affairs and mental health, according to 7News Sydney.
Meghan Markle is also reportedly due to visit a women’s homeless shelter, while Harry is set to attend engagements connected to sport. These include an appearance at an AFL club in Melbourne and attendance at a rugby union match in Sydney.
The Duchess of Sussex is additionally expected to speak at a luxury women’s retreat taking place at the International Hotel at Coogee in Sydney.
Harry and Meghan have been based in the United States since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. The couple now live in California with their children.
Their son Archie was born in the UK before they left royal life, while their daughter Lilibet was born in California in 2021.
