Donald Trump steps in to reunite Prince Harry with King Charles
The long-running rift between King Charles and Prince Harry could finally come to an end as Donald Trump reportedly steps in.
Insiders have revealed that the discussions are underway about framing a potential meeting as a "peace moment," with Trump to play a central role in bringing estrange royals together.
This comes as tensions within the royal family continues since Harry stepped back from royal duties in 2020 alongside his wife Meghan Markle and relocated to California.
The source told Radar Online, "There's real talk of framing this as a 'peace moment.' Trump wants to be seen as the guy who brings everyone together – whether it works or not."
Sources suggest that while a full reunion may be unlikely, even initiating dialogue would mark a significant shift in the family dynamic. The tipster told the outlet, "Trump is the ultimate showman."
"If there's a chance to turn diplomacy into must-watch TV, he'll take it every time... Sometimes just putting the idea out there is the move. And no one trolls the room – or the world – better than Trump," they added.
It is pertinent to mention that the situation is complicated given past remarks exchanged between Donald Trump and Prince Harry, as well as his criticisms directed at Meghan Markle.
During his appearance at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Duke of Sussex jabbed Trump, saying, "I heard you elected a king."
Meanwhile at the meeting of the British American Business Council, Harry said, "Next year, I know we are looking forward to welcoming more Brits from across the pond."
"Provided they behave and if they make it through customs and past ICE," he added.
On the other hand, Trump had also taunted Sussexes, especially when asked if he'd revoke Harry's visa, Trump said, "I don't want to do that. I'll leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible."
