Kate Middleton Reportedly Felt ‘Physically Sickened’ by Prince Andrew Scandal

Catherine is said to have had a deeply personal reaction to the controversy surrounding Prince Andrew and his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to claims made in a new royal book.

Royal author and biographer Christopher Andersen alleges the Princess of Wales was left “sick to her stomach” after details of Andrew’s associations became public. The claims appear in Andersen’s latest book, where he describes Catherine as someone who is generally compassionate and forgiving, but far less tolerant when it comes to issues involving children.

“She is a very kind and forgiving person, but not when it comes to abusing children,” Andersen reportedly writes.

The fallout from the scandal is also said to have created a noticeable distance between Catherine and Andrew within royal circles. Reports claim the Princess strongly opposed any suggestion of Andrew quietly appearing at her annual Christmas carol event and allegedly kept interactions with him to a minimum, even during family gatherings.

According to a friend quoted in the reports, Catherine felt “physically sickened” not only by the allegations themselves, but by the impact the situation was having on the monarchy’s reputation and the future institution her children are expected to inherit.

The Prince of Wales is also believed to share similar concerns. Sources claim both William and Catherine support stronger accountability within the royal family, although insiders say taking meaningful action is complicated by longstanding royal structures and constitutional sensitivities.

One source reportedly said the couple would welcome “swift action,” but acknowledged that the process is far from simple because of the many legal and institutional questions involved.
