Broadcaster praises King Charles’ US visit while launching fresh criticism of the Sussexes
Piers Morgan has reignited his criticism of Meghan Markle and the Duke of Sussex, delivering a sharp rant in which he contrasted them with King Charles III.
Speaking on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored, Morgan praised the King’s recent visit to the United States, calling it a “historic triumph” and “a masterclass in diplomacy.” He argued that the tour demonstrated the enduring strength and influence of the Royal Family on the global stage.
Morgan used the trip as a direct comparison point, claiming it showed what he described as “real royalty,” while taking another swipe at Harry and Meghan in typically blunt fashion.
During the high-profile visit, the King did not meet his younger son, Harry. While some reports suggested the decision came down to scheduling pressures, royal commentator Katie Nicholl offered a different perspective.
According to Nicholl, tensions between father and son remain deeply strained. She suggested that concerns over private conversations potentially becoming public may be a key factor behind the distance.
The expert added that communication between the King and Harry is currently at a low point, with reports indicating frustration over how contact is handled, further highlighting the ongoing rift within the Royal Family.
