Meghan Markle may be considering a return to acting, but Prince Harry is reportedly not on board with the idea.
Before marrying Harry, Meghan became widely known for her role in the legal drama Suits. Over the years, she repeatedly said she had stepped away from acting for good and had no plans to return to Hollywood. Now, however, fresh claims suggest things may be changing behind the scenes.
According to a source quoted by RadarOnline, Meghan is said to be open to joining a possible Suits reunion project as the couple continues navigating financial pressures surrounding their California lifestyle and business ventures.
The insider claimed Meghan sees the opportunity as a smart career move, saying a reunion film could help boost her public image while also bringing in a substantial payday. The source added that the visibility attached to the project makes it especially appealing.
Fuel was added to the speculation after Suits creator Aaron Korsh recently hinted at the possibility of revisiting the hit series. Speaking about the future of the franchise, he admitted a Suits movie “could be fun.”
Prince Harry, though, is reportedly far less enthusiastic about the idea. The source alleged that the Duke of Sussex views a return to Hollywood as a step backwards for Meghan and believes she should focus on larger ambitions instead.
Those priorities reportedly include philanthropy, rebuilding ties with the Royal Family, and expanding her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
While there is no confirmation that Meghan will reprise her role, the rumours have already sparked debate among royal watchers and longtime Suits fans alike.
