Prince William Shares Rare Update About Prince George’s School Life

Future king spends time boarding at Lambrook School ahead of possible move to secondary education

Prince William has revealed that his eldest son, Prince George, does not always stay at home as he sometimes boards at Lambrook School in Berkshire.

During a surprise appearance on Heart Breakfast, William mentioned George while speaking about the morning routine for his children.

He said: “Charlotte and Louis, because George is boarding last night, if you're listening, make sure you're on time, please. Make sure you're not fighting over who's listening to what this morning.”

According to reports, Lambrook is a private preparatory school for children aged between three and 13 and offers flexible boarding options for pupils aged seven to 13. Students can stay from one night occasionally to several nights each week.

The school reportedly has separate boarding houses for boys and girls, with dedicated house parents and tutors supporting the children.

Reports have suggested that William and Catherine, Princess of Wales may be gradually introducing boarding life for George before he begins secondary school later this year.

Although the couple have not officially confirmed where George will continue his education, Eton College is believed to be a leading option because of William’s connection to the school and its location near the family’s Windsor home.

During the interview, William also praised Catherine, saying: “She's an amazing mum and an amazing wife and literally our family couldn't cope without her. So she has been absolutely stunning, really has.”
