According to insiders, the Queen returned from the overseas tour feeling more confident than ever after receiving a warm public reception alongside Charles III.
A source told Closer Magazine that Camilla felt celebrated throughout the trip, claiming the royal couple were treated “like absolute rock stars” during their appearances. The insider added that the Queen’s speeches and public engagements were viewed as a major success, boosting her confidence significantly.
Reports also claim Camilla had previously been concerned about Catherine’s growing popularity with the public. However, after the successful tour, the Queen allegedly believes she now enjoys similar support and admiration.
Speculation surrounding the relationship intensified after claims emerged that Camilla privately warned Catherine, saying, “We’re not going anywhere.” The reported remark was allegedly intended to make clear that neither Charles nor Camilla plans to step aside anytime soon, despite ongoing attention surrounding the future roles of Prince William and Catherine.
One insider claimed there has been an “uneasy truce” between the two senior royals for some time, with Camilla preferring to address matters directly rather than avoid difficult conversations.
