King Charles is reportedly facing a delicate situation as Prince Harry prepares to return to the UK, with royal commentators suggesting trust remains a major issue between father and son.
According to royal expert Rebecca English, the King has agreed to make a royal property available for Prince Harry's stay during his upcoming visit, a decision she says reflects his caring nature despite ongoing family tensions.
Speaking on the Palace Confidential podcast, English said, "He's not a bad man. He's not an uncaring man. He loves his son. But his son has put him in a very, very difficult position."
She went on to explain that the issue extends beyond public disagreements, arguing that Harry has shared private family matters that were expected to remain confidential.
"I don't want to use the word 'secrets,' but it's certainly intimacies," English said. "There's a very small circle of people the Royal Family can trust, and once you're in that circle of trust you remain in it. Harry has smashed that with a hammer."
Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties in 2020 alongside his wife, Meghan Markle. Since relocating to California, the couple have spoken publicly about their experiences within the Royal Family, including allegations of racism and other personal grievances. They now live in the US with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Prince Harry has commented on the latest claims.
