Claims of a potential deal have reportedly caused concern among some members of the Royal Family.
King Charles is reportedly considering a private arrangement with Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Andrew, a move that has allegedly left several members of the Royal Family surprised.
According to Heat World, speculation has been mounting that Sarah, the mother of their daughters, may be weighing lucrative offers to publish a tell-all memoir detailing the fallout from recent royal controversies. Reports suggest she could instead be seeking financial support from the King.
A source claimed, “Sarah’s financially desperate and hawking around her tell-all, but if Charles helps her out, she’d have less need to talk about the family in order to make money. The King hasn’t made any promises, but everyone’s stunned. They can’t believe Charles is even considering it.”
The insider further alleged that Charles believes taking a tough stance could prove counterproductive. The monarch is said to favour a quieter approach, reportedly arguing that Sarah possesses decades of private family knowledge.
According to the source, any agreement would include formal confidentiality arrangements designed to keep private matters out of the public eye.
However, the reported plans have allegedly frustrated several royals, including William, who is said to oppose the idea.
Andrew and Sarah have faced ongoing scrutiny over their past links to Jeffrey Epstein. While Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing, he stopped using his royal title after reaching a settlement in Virginia Giuffre’s civil lawsuit.
Following the settlement, Andrew lost his military affiliations and royal patronages. He was also required to leave Royal Lodge, further reducing his role within royal life.
