Security concerns remain the key reason behind the family's continued absence from Britain
Harry is expected to travel to the UK alone next month as preparations continue for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
While speculation has grown over whether Meghan Markle and the couple's children would accompany him, reports suggest that Archie and Lilibet are unlikely to make the trip.
According to sources cited by People magazine, ongoing security concerns remain the primary reason the family is not expected to visit Britain together.
Harry has repeatedly expressed his desire for his children to maintain a connection with their British heritage and spend time in the country where he was raised. However, he has also voiced concerns about their safety following the removal of his state-funded police protection after he and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
"The U.K. is my home. The U.K. is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States," Harry previously said.
He added that this goal cannot be achieved "if there is no possibility to keep them safe when they are on U.K. soil."
The Duke of Sussex also explained his concerns for his family's wellbeing, stating: "I can't put my wife in danger like that, and given my experiences in life, I'm reluctant to unnecessarily put myself in harm's way too."
The expected visit comes as Harry continues to support preparations for the 2027 Invictus Games, which are set to be held in the city of Birmingham.
Although Harry is expected to attend events related to the competition, reports indicate that Meghan Markle and the children will remain in the United States, with security issues continuing to complicate plans for a family return to Britain.
