Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Won’t Reveal Children’s Faces During UK Trip

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain committed to protecting their children's privacy.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will continue to shield their children from the public spotlight during their upcoming visit to the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to travel to Britain in July with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Despite the family trip, the couple reportedly has no plans to publicly reveal their children's faces.

A source close to the Sussexes previously told PEOPLE that Harry's decision stems from concerns over his children's privacy and security.

"Harry has been reluctant to show his children publicly, not out of a desire to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats," the insider said.

The source added that the Duke hopes Archie and Lilibet can enjoy as normal a childhood as possible, without the constant fear of security risks, including kidnapping or harm.

Harry stepped down as a senior working member of the Royal Family in 2020 alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Prince Archie. Following their departure, the couple publicly accused the Royal Family of raising concerns related to their son's skin color and shared several grievances during high-profile television interviews.

Now based in California, Harry and Meghan are raising Archie and Princess Lilibet away from royal life and have consistently limited their children's public exposure in an effort to protect their privacy.
