Prince Harry has reportedly been given clear instructions ahead of his upcoming visit to the UK with Meghan Markle and their children.
The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel to England in July with Meghan, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Harry was told that any family-related parts of the trip would need to remain private if the Palace was to offer support during their visit.
A friend of Harry claimed discussions about the trip began in January, when the Duke expressed his wish to bring Meghan and the children to the UK for Invictus. He reportedly asked whether the Palace could assist with arrangements.
The source said Harry quickly agreed to the condition that private family matters would stay out of the public eye. His handling of the situation since then has reportedly helped build confidence among those involved.
“The way he has conducted himself since then has led to confidence in this new version of Harry,” the friend said, adding that he has changed significantly since stepping back from royal duties.
Harry and Meghan left their roles as senior working royals in 2020 and later moved to California. Since then, the couple have spoken openly about their struggles within the Royal Family, including allegations made during high-profile interviews.
The Sussexes now live in the US with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
