Prince William is reportedly becoming increasingly concerned about King Charles' health as the monarch continues to carry out his royal responsibilities while undergoing cancer treatment.
According to recent claims, the Prince of Wales believes his father should focus more on his wellbeing, although there is no indication that King Charles plans to step aside from the throne.
Royal commentator Robert Jobson recently weighed in on the King's condition, suggesting that Charles is expected to continue living with cancer rather than overcoming it completely.
"The King is living with cancer. He will live with cancer," Jobson said, adding that there appears to be no expectation beyond managing the illness over the long term.
At the same time, reports suggest William has been taking on a greater role behind the scenes as preparations continue for the monarchy's future. Sources claim he has been involved in a number of important discussions while Charles maintains a demanding schedule.
The father and son are also said to differ on several family matters, particularly regarding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. According to insiders, William believes a tougher stance should have been taken following the controversy surrounding Andrew's association with Jeffrey Epstein.
"In William's mind, Andrew should have been removed from the line of succession immediately and cut out of royal life completely," a source alleged.
Another reported point of disagreement involves the Duke of Sussex. While King Charles is said to remain open to repairing his relationship with Harry, sources claim William has little interest in pursuing a reconciliation.
"While Charles is open to mending his relationship with Harry, William wants no part of it. And that's likely never going to change," the insider told Radar Online.
Sources further alleged that William has used periods when the King is travelling or occupied with official engagements to hold private meetings with key figures connected to the future of the monarchy.
"These aren't routine briefings. They're strategic, future-focused conversations with real significance, and they're taking place away from public view," the source claimed.
While such reports remain speculative, they reflect ongoing interest in how the royal family is navigating both King Charles' health challenges and the long-term future of the monarchy.
