A royal expert has highlighted July 10 as a potentially interesting date in the 2026 royal calendar, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare to return to the UK next month.
Royal photographer Rookie, who posts on X, shared photos of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton while pointing out the significance of the date.
“It's looking like July 10th could be an interesting date in this year’s royal calendar,” Rookie wrote. “The Prince of Wales’ annual charity polo match is taking place, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could possibly attend the @WeAreInvictus one-year-to-go event in Birmingham.”
The remarks come after it was confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan will visit Britain next month with their two children. It will be their first family trip to the UK since 2022.
According to British media reports, Harry has been planning a summer visit to mark the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games. The event, founded by the Duke of Sussex in 2014, supports wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans from around the world.
The next Invictus Games are scheduled to take place in Birmingham from July 10 to July 17, 2027.
Harry and Meghan last travelled to Britain with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The late monarch died a few months later in September of the same year.
The Duke of Sussex has previously said he would like to reconcile with his father, King Charles. He has also insisted that he will “always be part of the royal family,” despite his public rift with Prince William.
With William expected to attend his annual charity polo match and Harry and Meghan possibly appearing at the Invictus event on the same date, July 10 could become a major talking point for royal watchers.
