Queen Camilla has reportedly laid down a key condition ahead of any potential meeting between King Charles and Prince Harry during the Duke of Sussex's expected visit to the UK next month.
According to royal commentator Rob Shuter, citing sources for Naughty But Nice, Camilla has insisted on being present for any private conversation between the King and Harry, as well as Meghan Markle.
The insiders claim the Queen is concerned that King Charles' desire to repair his relationship with his younger son could lead him to make commitments he may later regret.
"Camilla isn't taking any chances," one source said.
According to the insider, Camilla understands that Charles has a soft spot for Harry, particularly when it comes to his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
"She wants to hear every word," the source added.
Another insider suggested the Queen believes the monarch's emotional approach could influence any reconciliation talks.
"Charles leads with his heart," the source claimed. "Camilla worries that, left alone with Harry, he'll give away the family store in the name of peace."
The reported condition comes amid continued speculation that Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet could reunite with the King during a visit to Britain, although no official details of such a meeting have been confirmed by Buckingham Palace or representatives for the Sussexes.
The report follows earlier claims published by Closer, which alleged that Camilla had cautioned the King against moving too quickly toward reconciliation. According to those unnamed sources, she warned that rebuilding ties with Harry and Meghan without careful consideration could prove to be "a grave mistake."
Neither Buckingham Palace nor the Sussexes have publicly commented on the latest claims.
