Buckingham Palace is reportedly taking a cautious approach to any potential interactions between Prince Harry and members of the Royal Family during his latest visit to the UK.
According to RadarOnline, a palace insider claimed that any meeting involving the Duke of Sussex would be carefully managed by royal aides to protect the interests of the monarchy.
The source alleged that "every interaction" would be closely coordinated by courtiers, suggesting that even brief conversations would be planned in detail. They added that, under the current circumstances, formal and polite meetings are considered the most likely scenario.
According to the insider, palace officials are focused on safeguarding the institution above all else, saying their priority is the continuity of the monarchy rather than the feelings of any individual family member.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield also shared her perspective in an interview with Page Six. She claimed that King Charles' private secretaries are often nearby during sensitive meetings and may step in if conversations become uncomfortable or if time constraints provide a natural reason to end the discussion.
Schofield further alleged that palace staff, including butlers or housemaids serving refreshments, may remain in the room during such meetings instead of leaving immediately. According to her, the presence of staff can serve as discreet witnesses during conversations.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Prince Harry has publicly commented on the reported claims.
Prince Harry's latest visit comes as relations between the Duke of Sussex and the Royal Family remain strained following his departure from royal duties in 2020 and a series of public interviews, legal disputes and the publication of his memoir.
