Meghan Markle reportedly considered arranging a “spiritual cleanse” at Frogmore Cottage while living there with Prince Harry in 2019.
According to unnamed sources quoted by Radar Online, the Duchess of Sussex explored the idea after consulting someone about feng shui and the atmosphere of the Windsor residence.
One source claimed Meghan did not view the proposed visit as an exorcism, but rather as a way to make the home feel calmer and more comfortable.
The report alleged that a spiritual adviser would have assessed the property for negative energy and suggested ways to create a more peaceful environment. These measures reportedly included keeping doors and windows open and placing religious symbols around the home.
The alleged plan was said to have been discussed before the birth of Prince Archie, at a time when Meghan was preparing for motherhood and adjusting to royal life.
However, the report claimed that a member of royal staff discouraged the idea, believing such practices were not appropriate for a royal residence.
There is no official confirmation that Meghan requested a spiritual cleanse or that any such ceremony was planned.
Stories about supposed paranormal activity have long surrounded some royal homes. Kensington Palace, for example, has occasionally been linked to claims about a so-called “haunted nursery,” though Prince William and Princess Kate have never publicly reported experiencing anything unusual there.
The latest claims remain unverified and are based entirely on anonymous sources.
