The Princess of Wales has spoken about completing a demanding charity challenge after climbing the three highest peaks in Britain within 24 hours.
Kate Middleton discussed the experience during a recent appearance at Wimbledon, where the tournament’s official social media accounts shared a video of her being interviewed during a match.
Reflecting on the challenge, the Princess said the experience was not only about reaching the summits but also about appreciating the journey.
“That was the challenge, but I think part of the journey was trying to enjoy the process,” she said. “That included the training beforehand, as well as taking time during the walk to meet people and enjoy the experience rather than simply rushing to the top.”

Kate also recalled the difficult weather conditions faced by the group.
“The weather was atrocious. Everybody was completely soaked, but it was a very stoically British thing to do,” she said. “You’re soaking wet, and everyone is still saying, ‘Come on, we can do it.’”
When asked about the organisation she was supporting, the Princess revealed that the challenge raised money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
“I have been completely blown away by all the donations. Everyone has been so generous,” she said. “That is what keeps you going. When you know you’re doing it for a good cause, it helps you through the harder moments.”
The achievement carries particular significance for Kate following her own experience with cancer and her ongoing support for cancer patients, medical professionals and charitable organisations.
