Harry and Meghan’s Meeting With King Charles Reportedly Ends in Disappointment

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla reportedly did not go as the couple had hoped.

Harry, Meghan and their children are said to have met the King and Queen at Highgrove House on July 10. While the royal family has chosen to keep the details of the private discussion confidential, reports suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the meeting disappointed.

Royal biographer Angela Levin claimed the couple had presented a list of requests but failed to secure any of the outcomes they wanted.

“It was a mess,” Levin said, adding that King Charles insisted Queen Camilla be present during the meeting.

According to Levin, Camilla is especially protective of the King and pays close attention to how others, particularly Prince Harry, speak to him.

“The two of them could not do what they wanted,” she claimed. “Harry had sent in a list of what he wanted. He stayed in one of the palaces. Everything was going to be what they wanted. They didn’t get a thing.”

Levin also suggested the atmosphere during the meeting was polite but far from warm.

“I think Harry and Meghan must have absolutely hated it,” she said. “There would have been conversation, but not very warm.”

Neither Harry and Meghan nor Buckingham Palace has publicly confirmed the claims surrounding the alleged demands or the tone of the meeting.
