Kate Middleton is reportedly facing a difficult emotional situation as King Charles prepares to welcome Prince Harry back to the UK.
The Princess of Wales is said to want to support the King, but insiders claim the situation is complicated because of the hurt caused by Harry and Meghan Markle over the years.
According to a source speaking to Heat World, Kate is known to be forgiving, but the strain within the royal family has made it hard for her to simply move on.
“Kate is an incredibly forgiving person, but there has been so much hurt stirred up over the years by Meghan, it's impossible for her to simply forget everything and move on overnight,” the insider claimed.
The source added that Kate does want to see Harry and is willing to do what she can to help King Charles. However, Meghan’s presence reportedly makes the situation much more difficult for her.
Royal author Tom Sykes also claimed that the King’s decision to welcome Harry back could be seen as a betrayal of Prince William, who is said to have made it clear that he does not want to see his younger brother.
Sykes further alleged that William believes the stress caused by Harry and Meghan’s actions has added to the pressure faced by the Wales family during an already difficult period.
