King Charles may have received some encouraging news as speculation grows over a possible reunion between Prince William and Prince Harry.
The royal brothers could reportedly come together in 2027 to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of their mother, Princess Diana.
According to GB News, the Diana Award charity is believed to be planning a series of events to commemorate the anniversary. The organisation was established in Diana’s memory and remains the only charity for which both William and Harry continue to serve as patrons.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said a reunion between the brothers was “of course a possibility,” although no joint appearance has been officially confirmed.
William and Harry previously appeared together in 2021 when they unveiled a statue of Diana in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace. However, their relationship is believed to have become increasingly strained in the years since.
A reunion would likely be welcomed by King Charles, who has reportedly been hoping to repair divisions within the royal family.
A separate report by Closer claimed that Charles has decided to pursue peace with Harry and Meghan Markle and wants William to do the same.
“It’s become a real battle because Charles believes it’s time for William to let this go,” an unnamed source claimed.
“He’s made his decision to make peace with Harry and Meghan, and, in his assessment, everyone, including William, should fall in line. After all, he is the King.”
However, the reported ultimatum and plans for a reconciliation have not been publicly confirmed by Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace or representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
For now, any joint appearance involving William and Harry remains uncertain, but the Diana Award’s anniversary events could provide a rare opportunity for the brothers to honour their mother together.
