King Charles has reportedly delivered a firm warning to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the couple continues efforts to repair its strained relationship with the Royal Family.
According to a report by Closer, the King has made it clear that any future involvement in royal life would have to take place on his terms. Unnamed sources quoted by the publication claim that Harry and Meghan must follow the monarch’s expectations or risk permanently closing the door on reconciliation.
The reported warning is said to have come amid renewed contact between the Sussexes and the Royal Family.
“As much as this was a chance for Charles to spend time with his grandchildren, it wasn’t the only thing on the agenda,” a source claimed. “He also made a point of ensuring Harry and Meghan understand exactly where they stand. From now on, things happen on his terms, or not at all.”
The insider described the situation as the couple’s “absolute last chance,” adding that Harry had allegedly been told to step back and allow his father to manage the reconciliation process in his own way and at his own pace.
The report also claims that King Charles wants Harry to stop publicly discussing private family disputes, particularly his grievances involving senior members of the Royal Family.
According to the source, the King’s conditions are not merely suggestions. They are said to represent clear boundaries that Harry and Meghan would need to respect if they hope to rebuild their relationship with the monarchy.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly confirmed the claims made in the report.
