Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Children Could Return to the UK

Prince Harry’s solo visit to the United Kingdom could soon become a family trip, with Meghan Markle reportedly preparing to join him alongside Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

According to The Telegraph, the Duchess of Sussex is expected to travel to the UK later this week. Prince Harry had initially made the trip alone for a series of engagements linked to the Invictus Games.

The report suggests that Meghan and the children are not expected to make any public appearances during the visit.

The family of four had reportedly planned to travel together from the beginning. However, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet remained in Europe because of ongoing concerns about security arrangements in the UK.

Should the visit go ahead, it would mark Archie and Lilibet’s first trip to England since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

The possibility of their return has also led to speculation that the children could spend time with their grandfather, King Charles III. Princess Lilibet is believed to have met the King only once, during the family’s 2022 visit.

Prince Harry has repeatedly spoken about his concerns over security in Britain after he and Meghan lost taxpayer-funded police protection when they stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020.

Neither the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nor Buckingham Palace has commented on the reported visit.
