Meghan Markle Breaks Silence After Prince Harry's Privacy Case Defeat

Meghan Markle has broken her silence on social media just hours after Prince Harry suffered a legal setback in his long-running battle against a British newspaper publisher.

While Harry traveled to the UK for the court proceedings, Meghan remained in California with the couple's two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

On Tuesday, Harry and music icon Elton John lost their privacy lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail. The case alleged that the company had unlawfully gathered private information about several high-profile individuals.

The ruling marked the third and final case in Harry's lengthy legal campaign against British tabloids, a dispute that has also deepened tensions between the Duke of Sussex and the royal family.

Following an 11-week trial, the court concluded that the claimants had failed to prove their allegations, resulting in the dismissal of the case.

Responding to the judgment, Harry and Baroness Doreen Lawrence issued a joint statement calling the outcome "a complete and obvious whitewash, but sadly not altogether unexpected."

Shortly after the decision was announced, Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever, shared a new post on its official Instagram account. Although the post made no reference to the court ruling, its timing attracted attention.

The post featured a refreshing summer drink with the caption: "Something refreshing to share all week long."

It continued, "A pitcher of Hibiscus Tea, poured over ice. Keep chilled in the fridge for an easy pour, or add a touch of honey for sweetness!"

Meghan did not publicly comment on Harry's legal defeat, instead using the platform to focus on promoting her lifestyle brand's latest seasonal recipe.
