Meghan Markle is reportedly deeply upset by claims that she and Prince Harry are using their children to gain publicity or influence King Charles.
The Duchess of Sussex recently joined Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, during a reported visit to Highgrove House. Following the family meeting, some commentators accused the couple of using their children as leverage in their relationship with the King.
A source told Heat World that Meghan considers the accusations especially hurtful because they involve Archie and Lilibet.
According to the insider, Meghan is already used to facing harsh criticism, but believes bringing her children into the controversy crosses a line. She is also told to be worried that Archie and Lilibet may one day come across the negative stories written about their family.
The source further claimed that Meghan suspects some of the criticism may be encouraged by figures connected to the royal establishment, which has reportedly made the situation even more upsetting for her.
The insider added that Meghan strongly rejects the suggestion that she and Harry would use their children to pressure King Charles or secure a particular outcome, describing the accusation as unfair and deeply offensive.
