Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been urged not to discuss their recent private meeting with King Charles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly visited Highgrove House with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, on Friday, July 10. During the visit, they are said to have met King Charles and Queen Camilla in a reunion that was kept strictly private.
Royal expert Renae Smith believes Harry and Meghan should avoid revealing any details about the meeting, including whether the atmosphere was warm or uncomfortable.
Speaking to The Express, Smith said public curiosity about a possible royal reconciliation was understandable. However, she advised the Sussexes to remain completely silent and avoid discussing the visit in interviews, podcasts or other public appearances.
She also suggested that Harry and Meghan allow Charles and Camilla to decide whether anything about the reunion should be made public.
According to Smith, sharing private conversations could quickly undermine any progress made during the meeting. By respecting the family’s privacy, she said, the couple could demonstrate maturity, restraint and a sincere desire to repair relationships away from the public eye.
