Prince Harry Appears 'Much Happier' Without Meghan, Royal Expert Claims

Prince Harry appeared in high spirits as he attended an Invictus Games event in Birmingham without his wife, Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex visited the city to mark the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, which will take place at Birmingham’s NEC in July next year.

Royal commentator Angela Levin, a longtime critic of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, shared her reaction to Harry’s appearance on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Harry always seems much happier if Meghan is not around and he’s playing games,” she wrote.

Her comments came after Meghan reportedly decided not to attend public engagements in the UK this week, despite earlier suggestions that she might accompany her husband.

Royal editor Chris Ship reported that Meghan may still be in the UK with the couple’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but that the family is believed to be spending time together privately.

During the Birmingham event, Harry watched demonstrations of several sports that will feature at the Invictus Games, including wheelchair rugby and pickleball.

The Duke also joined a doubles pickleball match in front of competitors, their families and supporters. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis.

Speaking to reporters at the event, Harry briefly addressed his family, saying: “I am proud of my family.”
