Prince Harry is reportedly continuing discussions with King Charles in hopes of bringing Meghan Markle and their children to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex had previously indicated that his family might not travel to England this month because of concerns over their security arrangements. However, sources claim the issue is still being discussed as part of wider efforts to ease tensions between Harry and the Royal Family.
A royal source told The Mirror that no final decision had been made.
“While nothing has been ruled out, conversations remain ongoing,” the source said.
Another insider suggested that King Charles would welcome an opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“The King would not pass up the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, and if there is a way of making it possible, he will do it,” the insider said.
The reports suggest Harry is actively exploring whether suitable security arrangements can be made for Meghan and the children to visit Britain. However, neither Buckingham Palace nor the Sussexes have publicly confirmed that a trip is being planned.
Harry and Meghan stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020 and later moved to California with Archie. They have since spoken publicly about their difficult relationship with the Royal Family, including allegations concerning the treatment of Meghan and discussions about their son’s skin colour.
The couple later welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in California. Any future visit involving both children would give King Charles a rare opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren.
