King Charles has reportedly lost patience with the ongoing tension surrounding Prince Harry and is no longer willing to be drawn into what palace insiders describe as a “constant state of chaos.”
According to a source, the King still wants to maintain a loving relationship with his son and grandchildren, but feels his patience has been tested.
“The King’s patience snapped,” the insider said. “He wants to be a loving father and grandfather, but that was being tested beyond endurance. He is not willing to be pushed around, nor to indulge a constant state of chaos.”
The comments come amid renewed debate over Prince Harry’s security arrangements and accommodation during visits to the UK.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield suggested that the situation had become part of a wider public-relations dispute involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“This all felt like a painfully orchestrated PR stunt,” Schofield told TalkTV. She claimed she had expected Meghan Markle and the couple’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, not to travel to the UK, with security concerns being given as the reason.
Schofield argued that the situation could once again be used to portray King Charles as unwilling to protect Harry and his family. However, this remains her interpretation of events rather than a confirmed palace position.
The controversy follows reports that Harry decided not to bring his children to England this month.
A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said there had been several palace briefings suggesting Harry had declined an offer to stay at a royal residence.
“I am aware of multiple briefings from Buckingham Palace last week suggesting that the Duke had not accepted the offer of accommodation at a royal residence,” the spokesperson said.
The representative added that Harry had spent the previous week arranging alternative security after RAVEC decided not to provide protection for his family.
The latest claims highlight the continuing strain between Prince Harry and the Royal Family, particularly over security, privacy and the way private discussions are presented publicly.
