Prince Harry has reportedly been met with silence from senior members of the Royal Family as he continues to press for taxpayer-funded security ahead of a planned visit to the UK.
According to reports, senior royals have chosen to stay focused on their official responsibilities rather than respond publicly to the ongoing controversy surrounding the Duke of Sussex's security arrangements.
A source quoted by the Mirror said the family intends to "shut out the noise" and carry on with their scheduled duties despite the renewed attention on Harry's request.
The insider added: "This whole business has become incredibly tiresome and it remains unresolved less than 24 hours before the Duke is supposed to be arriving. The King takes his public work incredibly seriously and there will be no last-minute deviations to his plans."
Prince Harry stepped down as a senior working royal in 2020 alongside his wife, Meghan Markle. The couple later relocated to California with their son, Prince Archie, and have since welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Since leaving royal duties, Harry and Meghan have publicly discussed their experiences within the Royal Family, including allegations that a family member raised concerns about their son's skin color before he was born. The couple has continued to speak openly about their relationship with the monarchy while building a new life in the United States.
