Prince William and Prince Harry are reportedly at odds once again as the Duke of Sussex prepares to return to the UK this month.
According to claims from a royal insider, Prince Harry is aware that William is unhappy about the visit and believes his brother does not trust him. The source also suggested that tensions have grown behind the scenes between William and King Charles over the terms of Harry’s return.
Speaking to Heat World, the insider claimed Harry expected William to react strongly once King Charles approved the arrangements for the trip.
“Harry knew William would fly off the handle as soon as his father rubber-stamped the terms of their trip back, and he told Meghan to sit back and enjoy the show,” the source alleged.
The insider further claimed that Harry sees William’s reaction as proof that his brother remains angry and resentful, while he and Meghan Markle are simply trying to move forward with their lives.
The report also touched on the atmosphere at King Charles’s birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, where another source claimed relations between senior royals appeared strained.
According to the insider, Queen Camilla, King Charles and Princess Kate were not especially warm with one another behind the scenes that day. The source claimed the mood backstage was “frosty” and that the tension was not only linked to the protesters present at the event.
Another insider added that the King’s relationship with William is currently “not in a good place.”
