Fresh speculation about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage has sparked claims that plans may already exist for how a potential divorce would be handled.
While there is no confirmation that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to separate, reports remain divided over the state of their marriage. Some sources have dismissed the idea of a split, while others have suggested that preparations could be made in advance in case their relationship reaches breaking point.
According to Heat World, any possible agreement could include several conditions, particularly involving Meghan and what could be said publicly about the Royal Family.
A source claimed that the arrangements “would include a strict gagging order designed to prevent further exposés of private life.”
The report also suggested Meghan could be allowed to continue using her Duchess of Sussex title even after a hypothetical divorce.
According to the source, the Palace could view that as a way of avoiding another damaging public dispute, as removing the title might risk triggering a fresh media battle.
Despite the dramatic speculation, the insider also claimed King Charles would rather see Harry and Meghan remain together.
“Contrary to what a lot of people think, Charles is actually rooting for Harry and Meghan,” the source said. “He wants Harry to be happy, and he wants to see his grandchildren grow up in a happy home. He feels very protective of them all.”
For now, however, talk of divorce remains unconfirmed, with neither Harry nor Meghan announcing any plans to end their marriage.
