King Charles, Queen Camilla’s latest plans revealed as Harry and Meghan arrive in UK

Buckingham Palace has announced details of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s upcoming autumn tour, coinciding with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reported return to the UK.

The King and Queen will visit three Commonwealth countries during the nine-day tour, which will begin on October 27 and conclude on November 4.

Sharing the announcement on the royal family’s official Instagram account, the Palace said: “Their Majesties The King and Queen will undertake an autumn tour from 27th October to 4th November, culminating in attendance at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.”

According to the statement, the tour will celebrate the communities, cultures and natural heritage of the Commonwealth.

King Charles will begin the trip with a royal visit to the Bahamas, where he serves as head of state.

He will then travel to Guyana at the invitation of the country’s president and at the request of the UK government. The state visit will mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between Britain and Guyana.

The King will later be joined by Queen Camilla in Antigua and Barbuda. The couple will carry out royal engagements there before attending the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

The announcement comes as Harry and Meghan reportedly return to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to media reports, the Sussex family arrived in the UK on August 26.
