Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly arrived in Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as the family prepares to begin a new chapter in the UK.
Royal correspondent Chris Ship said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed at Birmingham Airport at around midday.
“Prince Harry and Meghan have landed in the UK to start their new chapter here,” Ship wrote on X. He added that the couple received no police protection upon their arrival.
According to Ship, Archie and Lilibet accompanied their parents and are expected to begin school in the UK shortly.
The BBC also reported that the Sussex family arrived in Britain on Wednesday after flying privately from California. Their return comes just days after reports emerged that Harry and Meghan plan to relocate to an area outside London for an extended period.
The reported decision surprised even some members of the couple’s family. It comes six years after Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States.
Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, are reportedly due to start school in Britain in September. Details about where the family will live and which school the children will attend are being kept private.
Harry and Meghan are not expected to stay at a royal residence or resume official duties as working members of the Royal Family.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had not immediately commented on the reports.
