Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly facing different priorities as the Duke of Sussex focuses on rebuilding ties with King Charles.
According to RadarOnline, Harry is said to be putting significant effort into improving his relationship with his father and exploring the possibility of spending more time in the UK. Meghan, however, is reportedly focused on the practical realities of their life in California, including their businesses, upcoming projects and financial commitments.
A source claimed Meghan has been urging Harry to keep their work and income at the centre of their plans.
“Meghan keeps bringing the conversation back to reality,” the insider alleged. “She’s got businesses to run, projects to launch, and money to make. As she sees it, that money isn’t going to magically appear if she’s spending all her time in Britain.”
The source also claimed Meghan believes that, while a possible invitation from the Palace could help improve relations, it would not solve the couple’s financial pressures.
“She’s just trying to keep their heads above water financially,” the insider said. “As great as it is that this trip to the UK might generate goodwill, it’s not going to generate cash.”
Harry, meanwhile, is said to see the chance to reconnect with his father as something too important to miss. The insider claimed he understands the pressure Meghan may feel in the UK, including the scrutiny and strict royal protocols, but believes this is a rare opportunity for the family.
The claims have not been confirmed by Harry and Meghan or Buckingham Palace.
