Meghan Markle has shared a new glimpse of her recent appearance with Prince Harry in Canada.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dressed for the occasion as they attended the 40th anniversary celebration of the David Foster Foundation.
In a video posted on Meghan’s official Instagram account, the couple could be seen sharing a lighthearted moment with a group of bagpipers while making their way into the venue.
“My husband loves bagpipes,” Meghan said as they entered the hall.
Harry then joined in with a joke of his own, asking the musicians: “Where are mine?”
The event also marked another connection between the Sussexes and Canadian musician David Foster. In 2019, Foster helped the couple secure a temporary home on Vancouver Island as they took a break from royal duties.
Speaking to the Daily Mail at the time, Foster said he felt honoured to assist them.
“I was really happy to be able to help them to find a respite, just to take a little time off,” he said.
Meghan and Harry later stepped down as senior working members of the Royal Family in 2020 before relocating to the United States.
The couple now lives in Montecito, California, with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
