Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly hoping to spend more time in the UK as part of a long-term plan for their family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have arrived in England today, with sources claiming they want to gradually establish a stronger connection to Harry’s home country.
“Step by step, they want to be in the U.K.,” a source told People magazine. “They want to have the time and give the kids the opportunity to be here.”
The report comes as Princess Anne is reportedly urging Harry and Prince William to resolve their long-running differences.
An insider told Heat World that the Princess Royal believes both sides have played a role in the ongoing rift between the Sussexes and the Waleses.
“Anne says everyone in this situation shares some of the blame, not just the Sussexes and not just the Waleses,” the source claimed. “In her view, they all need to be brought into line and told that this nonsense has gone on far too long.”
The source further claimed that Anne is frustrated by the impact the family dispute is having on the monarchy, particularly as King Charles deals with health concerns.
“The reputational fallout the entire family is suffering because of this immaturity is simply unacceptable, especially when the King is still ill, and he’s repeatedly asked both of his sons to find a way through this,” the insider said.
They added that Anne reportedly feels the brothers should put their disagreements aside and focus on supporting their father.
