Prince Harry is set to conclude his role on the Board of Directors at African Parks after a ten-year association with the conservation charity.
The organization recently announced changes to its board, welcoming Justice Isaac Lenaola and Alice Ruhweza as new members. In the same statement, African Parks thanked the Duke of Sussex for his contribution and confirmed that his board tenure was coming to an end.
“Following a ten-year association with African Parks, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, will conclude his tenure on the Board of Directors,” the charity said. It noted that Harry’s involvement began in Malawi in July 2016, when he supported a major elephant translocation project.
Harry previously served as the charity’s president for six years before joining its board.

The announcement prompted strong reaction from commentator Dan Wootton, who claimed on social media that Harry’s “entire world is collapsing.” He also referred to allegations previously linked to African Parks, though the charity has addressed concerns surrounding its operations.
Reports suggest Harry may return to Britain with his family next month, although no official details of the visit have been confirmed.
