Princess Kate fears Sarah Ferguson's next move 'could destroy us'
Sarah Ferguson’s return to the UK has reportedly caused fresh concern within the royal family.
The former Duchess of York is said to be considering a major tell-all project. She had stayed out of the public eye for several months following renewed attention on her links to Jeffrey Epstein.
Sources claim Princess Kate and Prince William are deeply worried about Sarah’s plans and have held an emergency meeting to discuss the situation.
“Kate’s heard about Fergie’s plan to open up about her life and knows how much damage she can do by speaking out,” a source told Closer Magazine.
The insider said Kate may try to convince Sarah to remain silent and avoid interviews. However, Sarah reportedly does not like being told what to do.
According to the source, Kate does not know how to handle the situation and fears Sarah could cause even more trouble for the royal family than Meghan Markle.
The source added that Sarah’s return has angered both Kate and William. They reportedly see her as unpredictable and worry that she could bring old scandals back into the spotlight.
The report comes as Prince Harry and Meghan have also returned to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Sources claim William and Kate called an emergency meeting with royal aides after learning that Harry, Meghan and Sarah had arrived in Britain within days of one another without warning them.
“They feel they have completely lost control of the situation,” the source said. The couple reportedly fears that the growing tension could cause lasting harm to the monarchy.
Sarah, meanwhile, is said to have returned to the UK because she wants to spend more time with her grandchildren and improve her relationships with her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
“She doesn’t want to spend the rest of her life hiding,” a source said.
Prince William, however, reportedly wants the Epstein controversy to remain “dead and buried.”
