Meghan Markle is reportedly unhappy with Prince William over an official Palace letter concerning her and Prince Harry.
The letter, issued on behalf of King Charles, described the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as private citizens. According to a source who spoke to Closer Online, William and Kate strongly supported the decision to release the statement.
The source claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales were caught off guard by the way Harry and Meghan announced their return to the UK. They reportedly felt the statement was needed to make the couple’s position clear before their arrival.
The insider added that William and Kate no longer trust the Sussexes because of tensions between the two couples in recent years.
Meghan was said to be “furious” about the move. According to the source, she does not want the Palace to push her aside or treat her as though she is no longer important.
The claims have not been confirmed by Meghan, Prince William or Buckingham Palace.
